Singleton attorneys have decades of combined experience representing wealthy families.

While our clients are primarily business owners, we also count a number of corporate executives and well-established professionals among our clientele.

For individual clients, we regularly consult on transfer tax planning, helping to build sophisticated estate plans from the ground up.  Our approach to estate planning begins with the family.  Once the family structure and objectives are clearly understood, we leverage our experience to propose a plan that will serve the family’s needs, while minimizing exposure to transfer taxes.

We have a particular focus on asset protection, whereby family assets are sheltered from creditor claims on a long-term basis, and in many cases, we are able to provide for heirs in a manner that provides nearly complete protection.

We are driven by relationships, not transactions. Once an estate plan has been developed and established, we continue to work with our clients to ensure that trusts are properly funded and administered so as to maximize their benefit. Most often, we continue to consult with our planning clients on an ongoing basis. This includes monitoring assets and providing continued guidance as wealth and objectives change.
